I think my fridge has become my spiritual advisor!

My dear friend Kim came over the other day with her two young boys and a gift of Godiva chocolates to celebrate my new found freedom.   The boys found my fridge entertaining as it is covered with magnets from most of the places I have been.

I started looking at my fridge a bit more closely this morning while enjoying my latte (I have a machine) and hidden amongst all the travel magnets, and a few for places like Papa John’s and the like, are four with sayings that I particularly enjoy:

  • “First say to yourself what would you be; and then do what you have to do” – Epictetus
  • “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life” – Confucius
  • “Why get married and make one man unhappy when I can stay single and make thousands miserable” – Carrie Snow
  • “Ever notice how “what the hell” is always the right decision?” – anonymous

My fridge is pretty old, so I respect its wisdom.  Who knew?
