St. Stephen’s Green is a lovely park at the top of Grafton Street. It is perfect for a short stroll or a picnic or just to watch or feed the birds.
The weather had turned suddenly lovely so I headed into the park for a bit. I was in search of some swans.
In virtually every park I know of in Ireland there is a least one pond or lake and you are guaranteed to see ducks (mallards, typically) but there is usually a very good chance that there will be at least one pair of swans somewhere. I was not disappointed!
Also not surprising, I was in the park for all of 10 minutes when the deluge fell from the sky!
Ireland!
