Huey, Dewey, and Lui

In Italian “Lui” means “he” and is pronounced like “Louie”.

Whenever I hear it or use “Lui” I just have to think of the name “Louie” which often leads to thinking about Donald Duck’s nephews!

For example, “Did Marco give you those earrings?”, “Si, Lui (the following in Italian) gave them to me for my birthday”.  I always think of the name, Louie!  What happened to Marco? That was fast?!

I don’t know why, but I find it funny!

Ciao!
