Horseback riding – Santa Gemita Ranch

After our quincho / gaucho lunch we went horseback riding, right from the quincho, with the gauchos!

We were divided into two groups and Leslie headed off before me.

It was a lovely ride and very different from the pampas ride I took previously.

We crossed the Zamora River and ascended and descended the hills surrounding the quincho, trotting and cantering.  Finally we took a very steep slope back to the ranch.

The best views were on the way down the steep hill, but it is not very advisable to take photos while on a horse, so most of the views are just in my head!
