BTW, they DO NOT eat corned beef and cabbage on St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland. Or on any other day, for that matter! They don’t even have corned beef in Ireland! It is an Irish-American tradition.
Similar to the fact that there is no dipping bread in oil in Italy, they eat their bread dry (not even with butter). Dipping bread in oil is an Italian-American / immigrant tradition.
But Guinness on St. Patrick’s Day? For sure! On Paddy’s or any other day. Hell, make it two!
